Sales Associate Position (FT and PT)

The role of a sales associate at Ryland Life Equipment is one of the most important roles in the company. Our Sales Associates are expected to engage with customers and inspire them with our collection of amazing brands and create a warm and welcoming experience. To succeed in this role you must possess strong communication skills (written and verbal) and have an open, bright attitude and demeanor. This is a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth within our dynamic company. You will interact with incredible, fun, and sometimes high-profile clients as well as inspiring mission-focused brands and entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities:

• Sales

-Welcoming customers in-store, assisting in selling by suggesting products and answering inquiries

-Staying knowledgeable and excited about our range of products and brands and their inspiring back-stories

-When applicable recommend related products to increase UPT

-Operate LightSpeed POS and e-commerce platform Shopify

-Resolve returns and exchanges keeping in line with policy

• Inventory and Sales Management

-Manage inventory by replenishing and maintaining the store as an inspiring environment

-Staying knowledgeable about back stock inventory

-Receiving and processing orders both in-store and online

-Communicate inventory needs or challenges to buyers

• Clienteling 

-Alert clients of new product offerings

-Help to facilitate and execute in-store events

-Promote special sales, offers, and awareness of in-store events

Requirements:

• Prior work experience in sales or similar marketing knowledge
• Effective communication with staff and customers
• Positive, bright, and open attitude
• A team player who views success as a team sport
• Demonstrates time management and organization skills: Ability to perform multiple tasks
• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial way with minimal supervision
