Opening at Ryland Life Equipment’s new location in Sag Harbor, LOEWE presents a vibrant new summer-long pop-up from late May to early September. The 18sqm space takes over a corner of the store with a curated edit of women’s ready-to-wear, bags and accessories from the eclectic Paula’s Ibiza 2022 collection followed by the FW22 women’s precollection. With display concepts inspired by the clean white geometry of Mediterranean architecture and terraces with panoramic sea views, guests are invited to enter a parallel world—a sparkling portal from the Hamptons to the Balearics. Rich in history and local lore, Ryland Life Equipment’s new home on Sag Harbor’s Main Street is one of the beachside town’s historic buildings, dating as far back as the 1700s....
This is 3. It is hard to believe that we launched Ryland Life Equipment three years ago. It feels like just yesterday that I was frantically setting up the store and the website in time for our first weekend in March of 2019. When we first opened at our former location on Madison Street there was so much nervousness and excitement all wrapped up in one. Would people find us? Would they like the assortment? There’s nothing we love more than an interesting story, so it comes as no surprise that our new location at 155 Main Street in Sag Harbor is rich in history, real and local lore alike, that dates all the way back to the 1700s. Today, what is known as The Stanton House was actually the location of The Hand House until 1840 when it was moved to its present location of Church Street. Built in 1840, The Stanton House is tucked right behind the Soldiers’ Monument on the corner of Madison and Main. This two-story Greek Revival Treasure serves as a window to Sag Harbor’s past with it’s lacy gingerbread Victorian porch, delicate triangular windows, and a striking front doorway....
